Bronx Masquerade

I just finished reading the Bronx Masquerade and I really enjoyed it. Prior to reading the book, I had no idea what to expect. When I began reading the book, I initially thought of the movie, Sister Act II, where Whoopi Goldberg enters a classroom and gets the classroom interested in music. I really enjoyed how the book was divided with the background of a character, their poem and then the reaction. It was a really quick read and I found myself really interested in the poems and reading them several times. At the end of the story, I was left wondering about the students in the classroom and where they are today.
